This year, the studio created almost ten cartoons, and two new works were submitted for the contest. The jury selected the winners, they were the authors of the New Year movie “Father Frost and his Adventures. Second place went to the children who worked on the cartoon “The Boat and its Friend”.
According to the RFC’s representative, such activity is very important to hearing impaired children. In the animation studio they draw, learn new techniques, and broaden their horizons. Every year more and more children from the school join the studio’s animators, they actively use modern interactive equipment, work in professional editing programs, work long hours to create new cartoons, and demonstrate their achievements.
Drawing scenes, working with professional equipment, and post-synchronizing - all these things the deaf and hearing impaired children of the boarding school are learning in the children's animation studio “Slyshariki” created with the support of the RFC. The young animators started their journey in January 2020 with the cartoon “Yeralash”. Today their collection already includes 30 works.
“Animation is not only a creative process but also a work on assiduity and goal commitment, socialization and development of our special kids. Thanks to the RFC, we received equipment and books on animation, and this year the head of our studio competed training from Soyuzmultfilm Animation studio. We hope that we will grow and develop in that area and win more awards”.
The winners of the contest were given a trip to Moscow. The children will not only have a chance to take some relaxation but also to improve their skills. Under the guidance of Russian experts from Soyuzmultfilm Animation studio, they will bring animation projects to life.
As a reminder, at the end of 2019, the Russian Fishery Company took the patronage over the children of the type 1 correctional boarding school for deaf and hearing impaired children. With the company’s financial support, a school-based animation studio was created. For the creative laboratory the RFC annually upgrades equipment, purchases software. The company also pays for the work of the studio teacher.
