MEKHANIK SIZOV SUPER TRAWLER

Mekhanik Sizov super trawler is named after the esteemed veteran of the fishing fleet, engineer officer Vladimir Sizov, who dedicated over 30 years to serving on whaling fleet vessels and fishing trawlers.
He completed his studies at the Odessa Maritime Craft School in 1952, the Department of Marine Engineering at the Odessa Maritime School in 1964, and the Law Faculty (majoring in maritime law) of the Odessa State University in 1970.
From 1962 to 1992, Mr Sizov advanced from a second-class machinist to an engineer officer. For his work achievements, he was honored with nine state awards from the USSR and the Russian Federation. For his long-standing diligent work and contributions to the advancement and enhancement of Russia's fishing industry, he was bestowed with the Honorary Worker of theFishing Industry of Russia badge.
In 2021, President Putin participated in the ceremony for launching the latest-generation super trawler Mekhanik Sizov.
