The Russian Fishery Company continues to increase its share of deep-processed products. Product quality and environmental sustainability remain its priority. Fillet production has exceeded 17%, an 11% increase from 2024.
The RFC is Russia’s leader in surimi production, supplying the majority of processing facilities seeking high-quality raw materials. Its surimi production for 2025 has reached over 29 thousand metric tons, 38% more than last year.
Since 2025, one of the company’s top tasks has been to encourage pollock roe consumption in both Russian and Chinese markets. RFC fishermen have produced 6,720 metric tons of roe, of which 64% are premium grade. All super trawlers have ranked among the top ten vessels in the basin for pollock roe production.
Production of fishmeal and fish oil has also increased in 2025, by 21% and 71% respectively compared to the previous year.
The RFC is actively developing its production system, training crews, and implementing programs to prepare key specialists. This helps maintain high standards, increase catch volumes, and produce high-quality products for our customers.
In the A Season, fishing was carried out by 10 trawlers, including 5 super trawlers: Vladimir Limanov, Kapitan Vdovichenko, Mekhanik Maslak, Mekhanik Sizov, and Kapitan Martynov. The Company continues its fleet renewal program, expecting to commission two new super trawlers, Kapitan Yunak and Mekhanik Shcherbakov, in 2026 .
The Russian Fishery Company is consistently developing its markets in China, Korea, Japan, and other Southeast Asian countries, with priority given to Russia and China. Highly processed products, such as pollock fillets, surimi, and pollock roe, remain the key focus. The company's end-of-season performance is crucial to growing consumption at high speed and quality levels, as the results achieved are what makes it possible to supply deep-processed products with unmatched quality, environmental sustainability, and nutritional benefits.
The Russian market is, as ever, one of the RFC’s top priorities. We are seeing strong demand from federal retail chains. This is supported by our programs to bolster pollock product's popularity among the general public, such as the O!Mega Taste Pollock Festival and the promotion of the Far Eastern Pollock (FEP) brand. Such programs improve stakeholder cooperation, thus ensuring the best quality and the most cost-effective offerings for consumers.
