The Russian Fishery Company brought an extensive range of wild whitefish (pollock) products to the China Fisheries and Seafood Expo (CFSE), including high value-added outputs such as fillets, surimi, and roe. Visitors discovered the highly diversified product range offered by RFC and its Asian processing partners, showing a keen interest in such selections as fish balls, fish sausages, hotpot pollock cubes, and fish cakes. Droves of expo visitors gravitated toward the pollock roe appetizer tasting event, which kicked off with the striking of a ship’s bell.
RFC and and its exclusive distributor Pacific Rim Group hosted dozens of business meetings at their expo booth to discuss various products and collaboration opportunities with entrepreneurs from China, Japan, South Korea, and other Southeast Asian nations. Negotiators welcomed at the expo booth represented Henderson, Joysun, Power on, Panfish of Shanghai, Ding Wei Tai, Liaoyu, Weihai Weidao, China Starfish, Tangchen, J.Marr and other major seafood producers. Pollock roe was in the limelight this time, singled out as the focus of nonstop meetings, attesting a renewed and growing interest on the part of Chinese processors.

The China Fisheries and Seafood Expo featured an award ceremony for Golden Pollock Awards winners. The Golden Pollock Awards were established by RFC in 2023. This year, the awards went to RFC's Chinese partners in recognition of their outstanding contribution toward making the fishing industry thrive in 2025. POWER ON MARINE PRODUCT, Weihai Weidao Food, and Jiangsu Dingweitai Food received custom-designed commemorative statuettes as tokens of appreciation and recognition of their valuable cooperation, their efforts in the development and commercial uptake of world-class pollock products, and the high quality and active international marketing of their pollock-based foods. This now-traditional ceremony highlights the importance of joint achievements and strengthens the prospects of further cooperation.
